How to use your Flock Health Planner

EasiPlanner Step 1Step 1.

Using the green MONTH stickers on the Step 1 sheet - Starting with the month you wean the lambs. Place that month sticker in the top row on the left of the chart in the box provided under where it says WEANING. Continue applying the following month stickers along the row in month order. This fully customises the chart to be appropriate for the flock linked to the calendar year. Add the year sticker to the space provided (top right)

Please note : To simply the calendar 4 weeks in a month is used for convenience.

EasiPlanner Step 2Step 2.

Using the Step 2 sticker sheet MANAGEMENT– Use these stickers to identify key Management dates in the appropriate months and the week within the months. If helpful you may wish to use the pen provided to write the exact dates when events will occur.

Not all stickers will be required to be used, although note could be taken of those unused as there may be something which needs consideration.

EasiPlanner Step 3Step 3.

Using the Step 3 sticker sheet – PREVENTION – Use these to identify key dates when preventative measure will be taken.  E.g. dates for vaccinations etc.

NOTE : Not all of the labels will be relevant to all flocks, some might be worth further consideration, the rest can be ignored.

SPARES : Some spare stickers are provided which may be used for any aspects not covered on the Management and Prevention labels relevant to your needs and the chart can also be written on with the pen provided.

DO ALSO REMEMBER TO RECORD ALL MEDICINES & VACCINES IN THE FLOCKS MEDICINE BOOK

      WHICH IS REQUIRED BY LEGISLATION.

When completed and used the wall chart can be stored and retained in the tube supplied for this purpose as part of the flock's health records.
